Simona – 2013 New Year Pincushion Doll

I love pincushion dolls and so this year I have decided to continue the tradition for a New Year Pincushion Doll. The name of this doll is Simona, as a special token of love to my dearest friend Simona Bussiglieri, living in Rome, Italy. We share a wonderful friendship and the same passion for needleart. She is a special woman, with an amazing talent for crafting, cooking and enjoying life! This pincushion doll is as shining and full of passion as my wonderful friend!

This is my second design for a new year pincushion doll and again I have been using the fabulous hand dyed threads from Romy’s Creations  (included in the chartpack), over the wonderful linen from Lakeside Linen.
