Teen Stitch by Sofia
These pieces have been designed by Sofia, who is now fourteen and she is already a teenager.
We wanted something modern and nice for teens willing to learn how to stitch. Some of these designs have been stitched on Lugana 28 ct. Teens will have no problems to find the holes in this fabric and will have an easy life while stitching! Patterns can also be embellished with beads and charms, used for a pillow or mounted inside a frame. These chart packs are suitable for beginners, but can also be a lot of fun for intermediate stitchers or moms!
A Ballerina’s Dream is a new design, dedicated to classic ballet, and thought to realize a sewing necessaire for the Designing Ladies 2006 project with Judy Odell (www.justathought.net). Wonderful sewing accessories and special ribbons and threads give a unique style to this necessaire.
The Hallowitch Sewing Box is a special design for Designing Ladies 2005 of Judy Odell and once again, special threads and ribbons have been used for this box.

The Frog Prince - Stitcher's Evening Bag - Designing Ladies 2009
An enchanting naïf sewing purse with tape measure case, scissors bed, pinbox/pincushion, and scissors fob designed by Sofia Cornali for the Designing Ladies 2009 project of Judy Odell. Stitched with Weeks Dye Works and The Gentle Art flosses on Vintage Patina linen from Lakeside Linen. The Night Before Christmas - Needle Casket - Designing Ladies 2007
The Night Before Christmas is the third Designing Ladies piece of my daughter Sofia who has designed this model at 14 years of age. She has always been enchanted by this famous poem written by Clement Clarke Moore (1779 - 1863) as “A Visit from St. Nicholas" in 1822. Valentina's Angel
My daughter Sofia has designed this joyful angel for a special and joyful young woman, Valentina Giumelli. The cat and the moon charms are based on original design of Valentina and crafted by our friend Rosella.
Valentina's life was interrupted at the age of 26 by a frightening flight crush in Linate airport, Milano, Italy, on October 8th 2001. She was going to Denmark to complete her thesis for the degree in Engineering, but her life ended on that day with all her happiness and hopes. Her parents, Serena and Claudio have collected her designs, greeting cards and collages in a special book and it is amazing to see how from simple paper and colors she could create so much, always with a happy heart.
