Dedicated to a special Christmas time with our family. A softly shaded band sampler with a few drawn threads sections. This project was awarded the first prize a Caron Collection on-line contest. A chart with alphabet and numbers is given to update and personalize the sampler.

This is a special sewing set with a scissors case and fob, a needlebook and threads-thimble keeper. I have used beautiful hand-dyed threads and fabric, plus matching wool felt by Weeks Dye Works. The red thread is more a sort of peaceful burgundy red and the green is simply perfect for my design. The finishing information are very detailed and templates are included in the chart pack.
With the same threads and fabric, I have also designed a matching biscornu which is published in the book “Un Natale da Ricamare 2008” edited by Mani di Donna, Roma Italy.

The original model has been stitched with Furtastitch 100% Nylon thread, made by Italyarns, Italy, www.italyarns.com. This is a new tridimensional thread ......

This little design is a tribute to Christmas but also maternity and paternity.
The pillow is gorgeous and shining. Quite a contrast with the new peaceful Shaker Threads of The Gentle Art! The little charm was designed by myself and hand made in sterling (925) silver by my friend Rosella, an amazing goldsmith working in my town.

This is a Christmas sampler with the beautiful hand-dyed threads of The Gentle Art and hand-dyed linen fabric of Weeks Dye Works. The colors are more primitive and old fashioned. It is very cute and full of happiness.
