This sewing set is a collaboration finishing design with my friend Marinella Paoletti, alias Mingiustitch who has designed a similar set, with another stitched design, but the same finishing process. We both used Stitches and Spice threads and fabric and we both enjoyed the lovely creations of Naomi, the owner and artist of Stitches and Spice. We have used a three baskets set from IKEA to create a complete sewing companion with scissors pocket, thread winder pocket, pincushion, needlebook, scissors fob, pinkeep. You will have a lot of fun in stitching this model !!!!

Ballerina's Dream has been created as a love tribute to classic ballet, teachers and dancers. Dancers need to sew their ribbons and fix their shoes in a proper way and the necessaire is just for these purposes. There are four ballerinas from famous ballets: Giselle, Petrouska, Firebird and Swan Lake. Point shoes are all over, inside center band, side bands, charms, scissors fob and the holder's card. The pincushion design is based on the music sheet of the Nutcracker Ouverture Miniature by P.I. Tchaikovsky. So there are true musical notes but...... with glass beads!

Dedicated to my beloved and unforgettable friend Kris Stott (Norden Crafts), this basket and stitcher’s sewing accessories represent a loving family, house and pets, flowers and trees in an antique sampler style. While we attended the 2009 Nashville show, Kris showed me the lovely baskets of Lantern Moon and we chose together threads and ribbons for a new model she wanted me to design for the basket........

This design has a true story since it was inspired by my first journey to Canada in August 2005. My husband had worked as a medical doctor in Canada at the beginning of his career and wanted to see again this wonderful Country and to take us to Montreal and Quebec.
