THE NASHVILLE 2010 SHOW - OUR THANKS
We are back from the Nashville 2010 TNNA show.
It was wonderful! It was also a lot of work but we were surrounded by many wonderful friends!
On February 19, Friday 9:00 am – noon, I was with my students, in the Hickory Ballroom, teaching my Blue Romance Sewing Set & Purse. It was fun, rewarding and exciting. I want to thank my students and TNNA for the great opportunity to teach at Nashville.
• Friday 19, 7:00 - 8:30 pm we attended the Meet and Greet event, and many friends and shop-owners came to see us. They wanted to see the new models but also have the opportunity to welcome us back in Nashville.
• Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st we opened our Suite 423 to old and new friends. Among all the wonderful people and shop-owners who came to pay a visit to us, I want to remember two special women who really made my day: the enchanting Monica Ferris, wonderful writer of mystery books and the charming Christy Schmitz, new Interim Editor of Just Cross Stitch and Sampler & Antique Needlework Quarterly. I was really thrilled to receive their visit.
We also had some of my favorite designers in our suite. They are also my dearest friends, Sandie Vanosdall of The Sweetheart Tree, Tina and Teri of Shepherd’s Bush, Pat and Ann of R&R Reproductions, Ellen Chester of With my Needle, Louise Henderson of Cherished Stitches, Barbara L. Rakosnik of Periwinkle Promises…… who else? I know I am forgetting some important ones……
And then, great time with a special loving family, the Stott family (Norden Crafts), keeping their wonderful Kris in our hearts, fun with Cecelia and Norm Striklin (The Thread Gatherer) and Naomi (Stitches and Spice), Dana (Valdani Threads), Anne (Gloriana Threads), and The Gentle Art, Weeks Dye Works, Lantern Moon, Just Another Button Company………….. I wish we could have been able to stay together longer.
To all of you who made our days unforgettable, thanks indeed and see you soon or at least let’s keep in touch with emails, phone calls, Skype, cards……
To my dearest husband Mario, thanks for all his great support. He has been so great to give me all his help and useful hints. Without him I would have never been able to make it. This time I want to use my website to let him know once again how much I love him.
