Quaker Style Necklace

I always loved Quaker motifs and when I saw the Tarnished Gold P5 and the Black Dark 8113 threads of Valdani Inc., I decided to make a beautiful necklace. The linen by Manifattura Tessile Sotema, Italy, was perfect as well. Lastly, my friend Cecile Just Another Button Company, made for me the beautiful button, matching with my model.

Finishing materials: interfacing or white cotton muslin, sand gros-grain ribbon 1 5/8 in (4 cm) wide, vinyl magnetic self-adhesive square, 18 bronze seed beads 2.6 mm Rocailles RH 14-055-24 from Rahyer, 1/3 skein of stranded cotton DMC black, ecru sewing thread, strong bronze thread, acid free stick glue. Ecru or bronze gold silk organza ribbon and cord necklace.
