Hannah’s Sewing Tray

When I started thinking about my design for this lovely tray, I decided to design something simple and cute, keeping in mind that it was meant to be a tribute of love for a wonderful American girl. Hannah Fong, Katy Stott’s daughter, is a special girl, moving now into her adolescence with grace and beauty. She has beautiful eyes and a special smile, but even more important, a sparkling intelligence. Nor even her mom knew I was going to dedicate this model to Hannah and we kept its name secret until the 2014 TNNA Nashville show. Hannah is the grand-daughter of Dave Stott, the chief of Norden Crafts, our Distributor in the USA. All these years we have been together, the Stotts have become part of our family. They saw our daughter when she was a little child, we saw Katy’s and Matt’s kids getting born. We have wonderful memories and treasured times together. This little surprise is a way to thank Norden Crafts for the great support, faith and love testified throughout these years to Giulia Punti Antichi designs. It is so rewarding for us to be supported in such a loving way and it is certainly due to them if our designs and our Company have done so well in the past!

Priscilla’s Pocket made this beautiful  “Giulia’s box” for me!  Priscilla’s Pocket has been able to make not only a wonderful craftsmanship product but also a link of friendship between our Companies. I wish to thank my friend Linda Connors of Uncommon Scissors for her beautiful scissors, so tiny, delicate and perfect for this box!
